This little blog will chronicle my ventures into selling vintage items in a local antique market. My booth is called Mad Maine Vintage Shop - it features items inspired by a certain popular TV show, and I am located in lovely Maine. Viva Vintage!

Sometimes you have to buy out your competition!
So, the blogging has been lacking a bit this summer, but I am more active over on youtube. The clip above is a quick video showing my mini haul today - all from my own antique mall.
Do you often shop to resell in your antique market?
There is a section of our mall called The Warhouse were the rent is cheaper but its not as nice. People tend to pile crap up in there so it makes a for a good place to dig. Sometimes you can find treasures for resell, sometimes you just end up dusty. :-)
I haven't had much luck at that...........but maybe I should try a little harder! It's so funny how those vanity mirrors can't be sold for more than $13 or so around here! I wanna make $25 on those!!!!
$13 for those pretty mirrors? That is not right, lol. Mine go pretty fast - I always display perfume bottles, glasses or other bottles on mine, and they make everything twinkle in my booth :-)

ReplyDeleteHaving a section like that is a great idea! My place surely would benefit from a junk corner, lol.
