Do Thrifters Live in a Bubble?

  1. I know exactly what you mean...I often think that I am grateful that there are people who buy things to support my thrifty ways. I don't have the money to buy what I would like and lucky for me, there are people who can buy what I like, tire of it and then donate.
Thrifting totally ruins your ability to go to the Mall, girl. I too feel like an alien and I am horrified at the prices.
Also, there are people who would not be caught DEAD wearing second hand. There are those who have to have the latest fashion trends. To each his own. Some of the need to be a consumer has more of an impact on some then others.
You have to be patient to thrift and you have to be flexible and like a bargain.

    1. Yes, you are right - shopping at thrifts ruins your mall experience! Which is good :-) Good to hear from you again!
