My little girl is usually not a girly-girl at all. She climbs tall pine trees, approaches strange dogs with no fear, and brings in pockets full of worms and caterpillars (ugh). So, even though she wears comfy dresses, she almost always wears jeans underneath - it's sort of a signature look for her to wear outgrown dresses as tunics over her jeans and boots. So, when I realized (on Saturday!) that she needed an Easter dress, I sort of panicked - she had none that fit! Again, Goodwill came to the rescue with this lovely reversible Laura Ashley-style gingham and floral dress. Probably the only pink she has worn in months.
Shopping at Goodwill is not just a hobby for me or a place to find items for my antique booth, it is incorporated into all of our family life - including children's clothes.
