Mad Maine Vintage Shop

This little blog will chronicle my ventures into selling vintage items in a local antique market.
My booth is called Mad Maine Vintage Shop - it features items inspired by a certain popular TV show,
and I am located in lovely Maine. Viva Vintage!

Blueberry Mountain etc.

I have been spending this week at a little lake cabin in the Maine mountains.  Although I love coastal Maine, I must admit that inland Maine is my new favorite place - and not JUST for finding great treasures to resell.  Below is a little video showing a little climb I did to something so innocently called Blueberry Mountain.  Yeah, hubby owes me BIG!

It was worth it at the end, of course.  Also because I am going to get a lot of yard sale time in return on the way home tomorrow :-)

  1. Thanks for sharing that. We had a similar experience doing an "easy" hike to Mt Megunticook several years ago in Maine.

  2. My children were born and brought up in Maine and they thought it was so boring. Now that they live outside the state they realize the beauty they took for granted. The view we had from their childhood home had the most spectacular sunsets and we saw wildlife daily.
Love your furry friend, so sweet. I wonder how often he hikes in a day/week/month/year? Perfect spot for such an active breed.
Cannot wait to see your treasures. I just emptied my shop space and have a car full of items to sell. Where oh where to put them?

  3. I was raised in mid Michigan. Oh, how I love playing in the woods. I'll bet your daughter loved it. So much to explore and learn.
