  1. I have had those egg slicers, but mine always break. I discovered a great way to make egg salad and it requires using one of those criss cross potato mashers. Just plop the eggs in a bowl and mash, they chop up very nicely. I never have put lemon in my salad, will have to try it. Monkey see, monkey do, I just put some eggs on the stove. I will try giving the kitties some yokes but they are ths strangest crew of kitties, they don't like FISH. They do like anything that once had feathers, which makes me glad they don't go outside to munch on birds.
Is there any reason an Obama Impeachment site is on with your posting? I know I would be horrified if it was on my blog (if I had one). Love your posts, but maybe not your politics...ah well, live and let live. I have been saving jars now that you have shared the lid information. Now that I know it, it makes sense. Head slapping moment for sure.
The coast sure is lovely and I agree, it is beautiful all year, not just the summer. May just head over to Wells for a stroll before the storm on Sunday.

    1. A potato smasher is a great idea! Btw, I did not put any political ads on my site. I did open it up to third party advertising, but I have no control over which ads get put on. It is supposed to be based on the viewers search history as far as I know. Hm, makes me want to rethink the ads on my blog. I am not publically political. Hey, I can't even vote here in the US, lol

    2. PS: The only ad I see on my blog right now is for LL Bean! Probably because I just recently visited their website :-)

  2. My apologies. I was looking up information for snowblowers and happened upon a survival site (which had good engine information) but the impeach Obama info looked like it was part of your site. Those little spy "cookies" are annoying...what really interests me is saving money and finding the best deals at GW, yard sales and thrifts. Wish someone would "cookie" me for that.LOL
Oh, and the kitties and the egg yolks? Forget it. A dog would be miffed to get "only" one egg yolk but it would disappear in a gulp. Cats? I guess they are discerning.
