Mad Maine Vintage Shop

This little blog will chronicle my ventures into selling vintage items in a local antique market.
My booth is called Mad Maine Vintage Shop - it features items inspired by a certain popular TV show,
and I am located in lovely Maine. Viva Vintage!

Pics of what sold last month

Here are a few pictures of what sold last month in my old booth.  It was not a very good month compared to the previous month - I think I made about half the profits (I will be back with the actual spreadsheet breakdown soon).  In the mean time I always like looking back at the pictures to SEE which items disappeared from my shelves.  Here a few of the items that sold last month in my old heartbroken booth.

Avon dog bottle, an owl (of course), a wood shoe shining bucket, a paint-by-number, and a Patriots glass

Playskool building blocks, mint green ceramic trays, vintage Florida salt and pepper shakers

Otagiri mug with ship, ceramic bottle trinket, stuffed leather bear

The remaining 3 bags of Duplo legos sold (this basket had a total of 6 bags - and I owe my daughter some profit for her piggy bank!)

Do you take pictures to visually remind yourself of what you have and what has sold?  More fun to look at than spreadsheets, especially when it looks as if nothing has sold at all.

  1. I take photos almost every time I go to the booth so I can have up to date photos on my website. Just the other day I couldn't remember if I'd sold this chip & dip set, so I looked at the photo of that shelf and sure enough it was gone. I should go back to my first photos and do a side by side comparison of then and now....very good idea for a blog post...thanks for the inspiration!

  2. I always mean to get a photo taken of my booth each month - it hasn't happened yet! I can never tell what has sold until I get my tickets. Maybe this month...
